Our Baby Bro and Sister

Two blue hedgehogs and one lavender hedgehog were playing about in their parent's backyard. The blue ones were boys and their names were Nick and Ronic and the purple one was a female, named Ana. Nick was the oldest of the three, Ana was the second eldest and Ronic was the youngest.

"Try and catch up slowpokes!" Nick yelled to his siblings, laughing as he was in the lead with his speed.

"Were gonna get yah!" Ronic said as he was running and carrying his sister on his back.

They were chasing each other for an hour until they accidentally crashed into each other and they were laughing like crazy.

"What a blast!" Ana said laughing as she slowly got up and cleaned the dirt off her dress. Ronic got up to and he was getting some dust out of his pink front hair, followed by Nick, who dusted off his arms.

"That was fun!" Nick said and suddenly sighed. Ana and Ronic knew that sigh; that mean something's bothering him.

"Hey, what's wrong bro?" Ronic asked him, concerned.

"I have a feeling that something's missing..." Nick told his brother and sister, deep in though. "Whatever it is, I have a feeling it's coming soon..."

Before either Ronic or Ana could answer, their parents came out and they were none other that Sonic and Amy. The young three hedgehogs noticed something about their folks; they had some excited faces, meaning they have some big news.

"Nick, Ana, Ronic." Sonic began and he looked lovingly at Amy, which made her blush. "You're mother and I have something really important to tell you..."

"What is it daddy?" Ana asked him curiously, thinking that it's really big and great news.

Sonic wrapped his arm around Amy's waist and just smiled as he told them the news...

"Your mother's pregnant again...with twins!" the older blue hedgehog said to his three children and they immediately did a group hug and the children began asking so many questions and giving so many comments that it was enough to make your head spin.

"I can't believe I'm gonna be a big brother!" Ronic exclaimed excitedly.

"I hope one or both of them are girls!" Ana said dreamily, thinking she might get a sister or sisters from the twins.

"If they're boys, then they're gonna be awesome as us!" Nick said happily.

"OK, OK." Amy said to them laughing. "You all just have to wait and see."

~A couple months later, at the hospital...~

"It's been hours..." Nick told Ana and Ronic. "I hope everything's OK..."

"Yeah, I'm worried too..." Ana said and she hugged her oldest brother, Ronic looked at the door where their parents were inside when their mother went into labour. The group was silent for a moment when their father came out, smiling proudly.

"Kids, you can come in now." Sonic told them with a smile. Nick, Ana and Ronic went inside the room and saw their mother, weakly waving at them.

"Mom!" all three of them said as they hugged their mother. Amy hugged back proudly and happily at the trio and smiled happily.

"Kids." Amy answered them happily, then she smirked a bit when Ana asked her the incoming question.

"So mom, where are the twins?" Ana asked, curiously, looking about for her new siblings.

"Are they boys?" Ronic asked his mother, excitedly.

"Are they girls?" Nick added, still wanted to know and see his new siblings just as bad as Ana.

"Why don't you look and see?" Sonic told them and pointed at two little cribs next to Amy, the three hedgehogs went over to them and pulled off to covers and their eyes lit up when they saw the babies; they were both blue hedgehogs except one was a boy and the other a girl. The boy had blue bangs and the girl had blue bangs with white markings on them and they were both sound asleep.

"A boy and a girl!" Ana whispered excitedly so as not to wake them. "Yeah! I finally have a sister!"

"And we also have another boy in the family." Ronic added and looked at the new babies. Then Nick looked at Sonic and Amy. "Can we hold them?"

"Of course." Amy nodded and smiled proudly as Nick held his new little brother and Ana held her new sister proudly.

"Have you though of names for them?" Nick asked his parents and Sonic and Amy both shook their heads.

"We think that you should name them." Amy said as she looked at them. Ana smiles and looks at her baby sister.

"Lilly." Ana said proudly and her little sister. "Because she has white markings."

"Then, we're naming the boy Dash." Nick announced with a smile. "Because he's gonna be a fast runner."

Sonic smiled at them and took out a camera, he got them to close and when they got to the position he wants, he took a picture. A photo that'll never be forgotten...
